The barrier can be opened or closed according to loading requirements, helping reduce the risk of personnel, equipment, or goods falling from the platform.

Retractable Design for Different Dock Widths

The Megodoor retractable dock safety barrier can be customized with a maximum expansion width of up to 8 meters. However, to maintain better structural stability and more reliable impact resistance, we recommend keeping the effective barrier width within 5 meters whenever possible.For wider loading bays, multiple safety barriers can be installed in sections according to the actual dock layout.The telescopic structure allows the barrier to occupy less space when folded. It can be quickly extended to close the dock opening and retracted when trucks need to enter the loading position. This design is especially suitable for loading bays that require frequent daily operation.

Strong Impact Resistance

The barrier uses a reinforced structural design with horizontal protective beams. When a forklift, trolley, or worker accidentally approaches the dock edge, the barrier provides effective physical protection and helps prevent falls.

The product has undergone an impact test in which a 3,389 kg vehicle directly struck the center of the retractable barrier at a speed of 3 km/h. The test demonstrates the barrier’s ability to withstand low-speed impact in industrial loading environments.
