Common opening methods include radar sensors, vehicle/pedestrian separation radar, ground loop detectors, pull cord switches, remote controls, push buttons, access control systems, photoelectric sensors, and automatic delay closing.

For automated equipment, robots, and AGV systems, doors can be controlled via PLC, dry contacts, I/O signals, or RS485 communication. The door can also provide feedback signals such as fully open, fully closed, running, stopped, and fault status for system integration.

CE certified high-speed doors can be equipped with infrared safety sensors, safety edges, light curtains, and audible/visual alarms.

If an obstacle such as a person or forklift is detected during closing, the door will stop immediately or reverse upward to reduce the risk of collision.

For robotic workstations and automated lines, safety interlock logic can be implemented. The door must be fully open before equipment operation begins, and will only close after equipment stops and safety conditions are confirmed.
